Tuesday, 10/29: outline pages 946 & 947 from the textbook. Just the blood vessels section. It will be collected.
Monday, 10/28: finish the state lab on diffusion. You do not need to answer question 3. You must complete the CER.
Tuesday, 10/22: Study for Thursday's quiz on Passive Cell Transport. It will have questions about the makeup of the cell membrane, simple diffusion, facilitated diffusion, osmosis and the different types of solutions (hyper, hypo, iso). The state lab final answers & CER will be due Tuesday, 10/29 for a lab grade.
Monday, 10/21: Complete the Science Fair form in google classroom
Friday, 10/18: Finish the State Lab: Diffusion through a membrane analysis questions. Skip #4. Do no do the CER
Thursday, 10/17: Study for quiz on macromolecules. Be sure to know the 4 types, what makes something organic, building blocks, bonds and the difference between dehydration synthesis & hydrolysis.
Tuesday, 10/15: Complete the Test #2 reflection in google classroom.
Friday: 10/11: Use the Biological Molecules POGIL to fill in sections of the Macromolecules chart. The entire chart cannot be completed yet. You should be able to organize the elements the 4 organic compounds contain and the names of the bonds. The rest we will go over in class on Monday.
Thursday: 10/10: Bring in an empty food package. It must include nutritional information. No drinks allowed.
Tuesday, 10/8: Get grade sheet signed. Period 7 complete the water properties lab.
Friday, 10/4: Come up with 1 or two ideas for the science fair & provide the names of the three or 4 people in your group. Also, Period 7 finish the microscope measurement lab.

If you'd like more practice you may finish metric system worksheet and you can check it in class before the quiz on Thursday.
